Pastor Jacob Murphree was born in Georgia in 1994 and raised in Flat Rock, Alabama by his loving parents, David and Ivy. He came to Christ as a young child and enlisted in the United States Navy as a Seabee in 2014, proudly serving for a decade. While still on active duty in 2022, God called him to preach. Pastor Jacob married his wife, Samantha, in 2019, and together they have two children, Emelia and Andrew.
In 2024, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership and Management from Regent University. Gray’s Chapel is his first pastorate. Pastor Jacob is passionate about expository preaching, sharing the gospel with the lost, and guiding believers to become fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
